Hi! I'm Berke, a pianist and composer from the Netherlands.

Around the age of seven, I started to develop an interest in playing the piano, after which I went on to take piano lessons in classical music. Over the years, this gave me a nice musical foundation, which would later support my aspiration to become a composer. This led me to study Composition for Film and Theater at ArtEZ conservatory in Arnhem. Needless to say, I will always regard myself as a student in the face of music...

By merging elements of classical with contemporary music in a creative fashion, I aim to get the best of both worlds, may it be for visual media or for standalone pieces. And till this day, nothing gives me more joy than doing something with those sparks of inspiration creating musical momentum. 

In my compositions, I seek to create accessible sounds based on an intuitive approach to aesthetics, rather than an experimental or overly theoretical one. That said, I do value precision and reflectivity in my writing. Because sometimes, to make an idea come to life, one needs to explore the contours of its shadow where deeper layers might be revealed.
